MOL FLANAGAN

Mol(ly) Flanagan is a Boston-based creative, passionate in Social Justice, Education, Community, and Media Literacy.

Since graduating Wellesley with a BA in Cinema and Media Studies with a niche in horror and German-film history, Mol’s film passion has led to multiple roles including Associate Producer, Creative Consultant, Writer, Lighting Technician, Food Stylist, Art Assistant, and more, working with companies including PBS, HBO Max, Paramount, Lifetime, Amazon Prime, Showtime, & AMC.

As an IATSE-481 Union member since 2023, they have provided support for narrative productions including Dead City: The Walking Dead, Julia, Good Burger 2, Held Hostage in My House, documentary features WBCN & The American Revolution, Dear Lara, and D-Day to V-E Day, as well as in local theatre at the American Repertory Theatre with Harvard University, lighting productions of Gatsby and Romeo and Juliet.

Their work carries into commercial platforms, recently assisting with PR firm Perfect Cartel to execute the La Mer Spa experience, as an art assistant with Gillette Razors, Pepsi, and Hey Dude shoe brand.

Mol supports educational platform Keeping It Sacred as their founding Digital Media Director, a nonprofit that creates community and learning with a Lesbian Jewish lens, growing out of their time with Film Shtiebel, a film club dedicated to searching for Judaism in non-secular Hollywood film.

Their PR and marketing work has also extended into film collaborations of marketing the film, "WBCN and The American Revolution," making their Instagram here and helping with the distribution into film festivals beyond.
