Inspired by the article "Film Bodies: Gender, Genre, and Excess," by Linda Williams and the book "Men, Women, and Chain Saws: Gender in the Modern Horror Film" by Carol J. Clover, I focus on how the body is most subjected and vulnerable in the bathroom, where many horror films tend to focus their moments of violence.
